Build a fragrance quiz

Add or open Find your signature in the theme editor. Configure the introduction and Question blocks. Map each answer to a profile: Woody, Floral, Fresh, or Amber.

For each Result profile block, choose a real recommended product or alternative collection. Set the result title, explanation, and optional image. Choose the maximum number of matching results and whether to exclude sold-out products.

The quiz counts matching profile answers. Ties follow the result block order. It does not collect email addresses or store answers, and it does not provide a scientific assessment of personal suitability.

Create a Fragrance Journey

Add Fragrance journey to a product template. Leave its Product setting empty to use the current product. On another page, choose a product explicitly.

Create the following product metafields in Shopify's custom-data/metafield settings. Use single-line text for the notes:

• custom.top_notes
• custom.heart_notes
• custom.base_notes

For product-specific ingredient photos, create File metafields restricted to images:

• custom.top_notes_image
• custom.heart_notes_image
• custom.base_notes_image

Add each product's content

Fill in those metafields on each product. Product-specific values take priority over section fallbacks. Choose consistent ingredient photographs for the three stages so products share a layout while showing their own composition.

Stages with no notes are hidden. If every stage is empty, the section does not appear to customers. Add only fragrance claims and descriptions you can support.
